Therapy and Counselling
At Project Phoenix we provide in house therapy and counselling services alongside liaising with a variety of local and outsourced services. All services will be delivered on a 1:1 basis in accordance with the care needs of the individual.
The following services are available through Project Phoenix.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that focuses on how your thoughts, beliefs and attitudes affect your feelings and behaviour. CBT aims to teach effective coping strategies for dealing with different problems throughout life.
Neuro Linguistic Programming
Neuro-Linguistic Programming is an approach to communication, personal development and psychotherapy.
The practice of NLP is the understanding of how people organise their thoughts, feelings, language and behaviour to produce the results they desire. NLP provides people with the methodology to model outstanding performances in the area they wish to improve or develop.
At Project Phoenix the sessions will help individuals understand how their thoughts, feelings, language and behaviours and the interrelationship with their past. Through this framework recipients of NLP can work towards realigning these factors to reflect their future aspirations.
Family and Relationship Counselling
Family and relationship counselling is a form of treatment that is designed to address specific issues affecting the health and functioning of relationships. It can be used to help people through a difficult period of time, a major transition, and mental or behavioural problems.
